Privacy Policy
Orilla ("Orilla," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website at orillahomes.netlify.app (the "Site"), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
When you submit one of our lead forms (rental search or buyer search), we collect the information you provide, which may include: your first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred move date or timeline, budget range, desired number of bedrooms, target neighborhoods, financing status, whether you are working with another agent, language preference, and any free-text notes you share. We also record the date and time you submitted the form and, for anti-spam purposes, basic technical data such as your IP address and user agent, collected automatically by our hosting provider.
We do not currently use analytics cookies, third-party advertising pixels, or session-recording tools on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and display a cookie notice.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you submit to match you with a licensed South Florida real estate agent ("Partner Agent") who specializes in your target area and price range, and to contact you about your home search by phone, SMS, or email. We may also use your information to improve the Site, prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. Who we share your information with
We share the information you submit with the Partner Agent we match you to, so they can reach out and help you find a rental or home. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
We also rely on service providers to operate the Site. These include Netlify, which hosts the Site and stores form submissions on our behalf; Google Workspace, which we use for email; and, if you opt in, email-notification vendors. These providers process data only to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Orilla, our users, or others.
4. SMS and call consent (TCPA)
By checking the consent box on our forms, you authorize Orilla and our Partner Agent to contact you at the phone number you provide using calls and text messages, including messages sent by automatic telephone dialing systems, about your home search. Consent is not a condition of receiving any service from Orilla — you may contact us by email instead. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. You can opt out of calls and emails by replying to an email from us with the word "unsubscribe," or by emailing hello@orillahomes.com.
5. Data retention
We retain form submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to help you find a home and to comply with our legal and record-keeping obligations — typically no more than 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you ask us to delete your information sooner.
6. Your rights and choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@orillahomes.com from the address you used to submit the form. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
If you are a Florida resident, you may have additional rights under the Florida Digital Bill of Rights. We will honor verified requests to the extent the law applies to us.
7. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted and stored by our hosting provider using industry-standard encryption. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's privacy
Orilla is intended for adults. The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will make a reasonable effort to notify you.
